RE: ALL THE BIGOTRY, NONE OF THE CHARM

Mark:  I like to think I have all the libertarians’ love of the old Anglo-American ideals regarding individual liberty and autonomy, with none of their insane optimism that those ideals would survive an influx of a couple of hundred million people from countries with statist or despotic political traditions–countries, in some cases, with deep historical grudges against anything Anglo-American.
