Byron, Mary Eberstadt doesn’t go into the age/era issue in her introduction. And the rest of the book consists simply of the personal narratives of the twelve authors. But that’s part of the fun of this thing. The reader gets to compare and contrast–along the lines of age, or anything else. Already you’ve picked out an issue I didn’t consider when reading through the pieces. So again, it’s all part of the fun of Why I Turned Right.
