Having been in Boston this weekend and sneaking a visit to a dear, wise friend this afternoon, I was at the Providence Amtrak station as news came in about the Boston Marathon. “Oh my goodness, we were planning on going until plans changed.” Prayers for the victims and gratitude for health and safety are palpable.
Text messages weren’t going through for a bit, so can only imagine how bad the communications are in Boston.
