I can tell you that before the Newsweek cover story a little while ago, Mormonism had not been a major media topic. But evangelicals (like my neighbor across the street) start breathing fire when they suggest they hold Jesus “at the same level as modern Christendom.” Mitt could break through. Or it could cause a real theological wrestling match.
