Re: Cameron’s green tinge

I should add, before anyone throws up their hands in horror at my last statement, that I mean what I say – that Cameron’s green tinge is indeed superficial. Cameronism 1.0 was pathetically green, but the green Tory wing blew that when they presented a policy report that essentially called for the deindustrialization of Britain and the west in the name of “quality of life.” Since then, the Tories have talked green but have switched back to realism. I used to ask the question of Cameron 1.0 era Tories, “Who would you rather be more important in a Cameron government? The Environment Secretary or the Trade and Industry Secretary?” Since the policy switch, that question now has a sensible answer.
