Re: Chris Shays

A reader makes a strong case for the man:


As the last ultra-conservative in Connecticut, I have never had much use for Chris Shays. But after his recent remarks in a Hartford Current interview, I would charge the gates of Hell for the man. Because, referring to the Foley affair, he said, “I know the speaker didn’t go over a bridge and leave a young person in the water, and then have a press conference the next day.”

I love it. Chris Shays rocks. So please, cut Shays some slack.
