Re: Chuck Todd

Kathryn, you make a good point. I have no reason to doubt Chuck Todd’s bona fides as a political reporter and analyst. He clearly thinks he’s onto something original with his insight about Bush’s negative impact on the 2006 elections and he’s running with it — and that surely has nothing to do with his wife’s employment. I shouldn’t have been so flip, especially since Todd himself (whom I don’t know) repeatedly mentions it when he talks about these things on the air. That said, I still think the hard evidence presented by Tom Bevan makes it a very shaky case indeed.
