Lisa – My favorite part of the white women surge to McCain is that last week every self-appointed spokeswoman for womakind proclaimed it was insulting even to suggest that women would vote for the neathanderthal in lipstick simply because she’s a woman. I agree with you that Palin’s appeal is about a lot more than gender, but a lot of those astroturf feminists look awfully stupid right now and, I suspect, they knew they might which is why they were so desperate to destroy Palin out of the blocks.
