Last year Reader’s Digest funded a poll of people in sixteen countries to gauge their views of America, and among other questions asked them if they would want to move to the United States if they could. They, too, found that a third of Mexicans would want to move here. They also found, amazingly, that 52% of the French would move to America if they could.
