RE: Experience and Presidential Performance

As always, I love Manzi’s jones for data. But I’ll just point out a little factoid. Teddy Roosevelt, number five on that list of presidential rankings, had less than two years experience as a governor when he was tapped for vice-president.Yes, he was also a colonel and had Assistant Secretary of the Navy on his resume. Further, New York is surely a more significant state than Alaska in the political scheme of things. But the fact he also had less than two years in the governorship still seems worth mentioning.
