Re: Faux Cannibalism

Hufu may not be a joke. The Dartmouth Review has been hot on Hufu’s trail for the past year, and all signs point to its being a legitimate, maybe even viable, business. Here’s a humorous interview with Hufu’s founder. Hufu has proposed a line of products–including chimp and ape flavors–that would ideally lessen the demand for those exotic meats. (The latest product, in that spirit, is “Delicious Baby Seal–The Veal of the Sea.”) Nuckols has held taste-tests at Dartmouth, and believes anthropology students studying cannibalism will purchase Hufu, for the first-hand experience. The vast majority of revenue, however, is expected to come from the Hufu clothing line.
