Uh, how about never? You may need to go back and re-read, but Frankenstein’s monster, as written by Shelley, was never really a monster – to the extent that he was, he hated himself and his creator. Always a (relatively) sympathetic
figure.
My response I hear ya, but Herman Munster and Young Frankenstein he wasn’t.
