Re: Funniest Movies

Surprising unanimity on movies I missed, all of which I love but don’t put in my own personal top 10–Duck Soup, Young Frankenstein, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, This is Spinal Tap. And some sleepers too — particularly the amazing Used Cars, which may be the most underappreciated movie of the 1980s, with Kurt Russell as the nation’s sleaziest and yet most principled used-car salesman and Grandpa Munster as a hanging judge. (My sister Rachel votes for The Odd Couple and 10, both marvelous choices but not laugh-by-laugh-by-minute up there.)
