I don’t think Obama will flee Iraq. He is trying to win the nomination. After that he’ll moderate.
The public at large does not want failure in Iraq, and whoever becomes President will not force defeat while they’re in office. He has already said he’ll keep a force in the region. I’ll bet he keeps it in Iraq.
No way he bails on Iraq if he is elected. No way.
So, if I’m going to have to hate the next President, I’d rather it be a Democrat. I’m not going to vote for McCain, even if he changes his mind about certain things. His instincts are always wrong, and we always have to beg him to change his mind.
Forget it.
