Iain: Kuhn is a darn pest. Half of my emailers seem to think he said (though he didn’t) that since every paradigm shift leaves the old paradigm looking shoddy and wrong-headed, therefore all knowledge is relative and there is no truth in science. And there you are, in bed with the po-mo deconstructionalists. Which, as Noam Scheiber pointed out in that article I linked to, is exactly where the I.D. people are.
