K-Lo, don’t leave out the national media as reflexive DNC robots on the Hackett story. The networks have done stories — when it’s highly possible they didn’t publicize one stinking House race in 2004. (They did one in 2003, I believe, when Rep. Charlie Gonzalez faced the prospect of running against his own ex-wife, but that’s a human-interest story, not a political-junkie story.) Speaking of TimesWatch, the New York Times is also on the Hackett bandwagon.
