Palin actually has a month’s more experience as governor of Alaska than Pelosi has as Speaker. Palin has proved an effective governor with high approval ratings in her state, while Pelosi is incompetent and Congress is more unpopular than ever. Should McCain win, both Pelosi and Palin will be a heartbeat or two away from the presidency. Yet Palin, for lack of developed “Meet the Press” patter is pilloried. Palin can learn interview skills. Pelosi can never learn true leadership skills (save for raising lots of money for House Dems).
