re: Iran and Iraq

Kathryn, While there is a lot of other evidence about Iranian training of Iraqi militiamen, Alireza Jafarzadeh is a front man for the Mujahidin al-Khalq Organization, which the State Department–correctly in my view–defines as a terrorist organization. Some photos circulate which allege to show his presence in a training camp in Saddam’s Iraq. Sometimes their information checks out, often times it is exaggerated, and sometimes it is complete fiction. In this case as with anything coming from the MKO, a hefty dose of verification would be in order.
