As long as one doesn’t do anything terribly boring, embarrassing, or scandalous, getting yourself in front of the Monday Night Football strikes me as all-good. Reminds me of John McCain’s cameo on 24. (That said, his SNL skit with Amy Poehler scarred me for life. Though his Streisand was classic.) Can you beat primetime network TV (and I don’t mean when your convention slot fits between 8 and 10 pm EST) for a little quick enormous exposure to the non Road to the White House-watching crowd (a.k.a. most of America)?
But don’t hold your breath for a Mitt Romney cameo on Big Love.
