As a gay man who loved your book–I hope not the only one!–I was glad to read [that post]. Pro-lifers and gays are both fighting for civil rights. Even if the Left and the Right don’t get that, a lot of younger people do.
Thanks. I do think that a lot of political analysts, even pretty sophisticated ones, fall into the error of thinking of “social conservatism” or “social liberalism” as package deals. For a lot of people, they aren’t.
