I am disinclined to accept the cognitive realignment that you eschewed on
your morning reflections. I would propose that the phenomenon to which you
were a witness was not a manifestation of cultural changes duly caused by
the writ of legislative authority. Rather, you experienced a more profound
oddity: College students respecting said authority regardless of whether or
not it aligned with their worldview. If this is not the heart of
conservative values, what is?
