Re: Least Funny Movies

Good candidates for Least Funny Movie include: Eraserhead (premature baby screaming constantly), Interiors (Woody Allen with the amazing line, “Suddenly I became hyperaware of my body”), Testament (post-nuclear kids dying of radiation), Orlando (Victoria Woolf time-traveling androgyne). What’s fascinating about all these movies? One-word titles. Evidently, that breeds Self-Seriousness. Just so everybody gets it: I’m not talking about unfunny movies like Ishtar and I am exempting all Holocaust movies because, come on, they’re Holocaust movies, how could they have jokes in them?
