NR editorialized about the matter in its November 28, 2011, issue. In that same issue, I had a piece on Chen Guangcheng, the “blind peasant lawyer” who was still in China, being tortured almost to death. He had blown the whistle on forced abortions and sterilization.
If Salon or other publications don’t want to deal with abortion, fine, but they shouldn’t accuse the rest of us of not.
