Just to pile on a little — besides being a delightful fella and invaluable historian of many things Right, Lee Edwards was my professor for a semester at Catholic University — so I salute someone who I’ve long admired in congratulating him and thanking him for his work on this memorial. Considering people don’t quite get we’re in our fourth world war now, the likelihood kids will appreciate what the Cold War was probably passed as the last ones who grew up hearing about the real threat of the “Evil Empire” entered adulthood. That memorial on the Hill is no small thing, for many reasons.
