Re: National Youth Error Message Day

Yuval points out that Enroll America has designated February 15 “National Youth Enrollment Day,” when the federal health-exchange website, which serves thirty-odd states, is going to be down that day for maintenance. But the choice of date isn’t entirely random: National Youth Enrollment Day is the last day people can sign up for plans starting March 1 — if they sign up February 16, their coverage starts April 1. Which means they seem to have arbitrarily picked a weekend to take the website down, without considering it’s probably the most important enrollment day of the month.

UPDATE: As long as Young Invincibles get up early enough on February 15 to enrolling by 3 p.m., they should be okay, according to the e-mail I just received:
