Re: A New Deal

Ramesh’s correspondent writes, ” Should Obama win the Presidency, racial tension stops.”

…and the oceans shall fall and the planet shall heal.

BTW –  has there been a measurable decline in racial tension since Obama’s speech on race? Fewer charges with the EEOC? A drop in complaints to the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights?

Admittedly, it’s a good thing that people have finally stopped accusing anyone who asks Obama a mildly tough policy question of being a racist.
