Don’t be snookered by the news that the Obama DOJ will appeal the district court’s ruling against Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. All that means is that the Obama DOJ will continue to find it politically convenient, on balance, to pretend to vigorously defend Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell while in fact undermining the law.
