Re: Packing it In

My reaction to the Packer piece was much like Jonah’s: yes, there’s work to be done, and there’s a certain intellectual fatigue among conservatives; but the fortunes of conservatism are not identical to those of the GOP, and both are helped by the fact that the left isn’t exactly offering stiff competition intellectually. Some quick (and perhaps too cheerful by half, I admit) thoughts about it here.
