re: Palin: Fine for GOProud to be at CPAC

The conversation seemed to me like she really was not all that familiar with the controversies surrounding CPAC. (Something I respect — CPAC isn’t the biggest issue in the world. And, as she said, February is a particularly busy month in Alaska.) There is, of course, some reason to believe she understands that there are social issues involving life and the family that are “life-changing, life-and-death issues.” So I was sad to hear her drive by the controversy in a way that suggested that boycotters were wrong — or otherwise not give them a hearing. Robby George, for instance, shouldn’t be dismissed by somebody who wants to be a leader in the conservative movement.
