On Jonah’s argument that as it relates to Governor Palin, “The heartbeat-from-the-presidency issue is a real one.” Fair enough. But so is the closer-than-a-heartbeat-away-to-the-presidency issue. The fact is that Governor Palin is more qualified to be President than Obama, based simply on her record v. his, and she would be Vice President, not President. She also has actual executive experience, which none of the other three do. And she has good command of the issues, I gather. In a normal year, the issue of experience (or lack thereof) might matter for Palin. With Obama at the top of the Democratic issue, it matters a whole lot less.
