Strewth, that was an easy one. Just go to “Add/Remove Programs” & remove
the dumb thing. I must be losing it.
Several readers recommended SpyBot. I downloaded & ran it. It identified
177 problems. I clicked the button that says “Fix These Problems.” I
clicked it. The progress bar started up… then stopped. it stayed
stopped. I drove my daughter and her little friend to ballet class & came
back 20 mins later — it was still stopped at the same place. I re-booted.
SpyBot looks like a great idea, but needs work.
