Re: A Pledge Worth Taking

So, Michael, if I understand your view correctly, it is that the actual wording of the “citizen’s pledge” is not important. What matters is that Republican presidential candidates (and everyone else) know that 11,000 citizens and counting would prefer that their president be pro-life, implement pro-life policies, and appoint other pro-lifers. I think everyone already knows that a lot more people than that have those preferences, so I’m wondering what the pledge adds. And if the wording doesn’t matter, then why not choose better wording?
