Okay, I’m sounding like too much of a Mittster even for my liking, but he could use a little legit help in “The Corner” here. Mitt Romney may be a rich guy who had political parents (one who even ran for president), but he’s one who turned the Olympics around (if you’re into that), and was a wildly successful businessman, and additionally he was a governor who took on some pretty big and important issues (budget, health care, marriage, cloning…). He’s a “privileged white male” but I happen to love a few of ‘em. This one is one who’s certainly proved some skill out there in the world. And so his skin color (!), sex, and income bracket shouldn’t be held against him any more than his religion.
