Afraid not Andrew. Regardless of what is said publicly, the idea that a missile-defense system would only be used by Poland to defend against Iranian nukes but not Russian nukes is silly. And just because that’s the party line doesn’t make is less so. There are many military things that can and are being done, and good for those who support them. Appeasement, in whatever form, would be wholly inappropriate in this case. And the Poles know it. Let’s say a prayer for them. Oops. No military. No prayers.
