K-Lo and Andy, if the list of clients and legal services a lawyer performs is, per se, not disqualifying for a high, policy-making Justice Department post, then who cares if Holder forgot something as inconsequential as an amicus brief? In fact, why should any lawyer nominated for a high DOJ position be required to provide the Senate with anything related to his/her work in the private sector short of possible evidence of unethical or unlawful behavior in the representation of his or her clients? Poor Eric Holder had to submit thousands of pages of information. The Senate inquiry itself is intimidating to the lawyer and apparently pointless to the process.
