John, the obvious contrarian’s question to you is: President Bush’s approval ratings are done with average Americans, not likely or registered voters. Why should Hillary be any different? I can agree that it may not be an accurate measure of her current negatives, and I can agree that she should not be underestimated. But polls like this also underline something important: the broad mass of Americans, voters and non-voters, are nowhere near as wild about Hillary as our opinion-making elites.
