I second Mona. It was pure brain porn. I think Stroessen was very good at what she was doing, but I don’t think she was quite defending a position so much as attack Scalia’s. I don’t know what the format rules were supposed to be — I missed the very begining — but it seemed like she was acting like a prosecutor against Scalia. That was fine and very enjoyable. But it would have been fun for Scalia to turn the tables on her a bit more.
Regardless, it was great watching for law geeks and others.
