I second Yuval’s comments. There are very few things in life that are as profoundly affective as the loss of a child to miscarriage. Without sharing too much, it is something about which you never quite stop wondering “What if?” I would hope that Robert’s comments were directed as something else. If not, they are as off base — and frankly, malignant — as one can imagine.
