All things relative, I suppose, Jonah. NPR’s national news feed is not to my taste – too twee for me – but it is often better than the local public-radio news operations. In Superior, Nebraska, I reported on the state public-radio news services in places like Kansas and Nebraska. In covering statehouse and local news, they weren’t just biased, they often were aggressively unfair – and deservedly dismissed by listeners living outside Lawrence or Lincoln.
