Lots and lots of cranky email about my support for NPR news. Let me clarify that I don’t think it should be taking any government money either. In response to the email invoking Diane Rehm, Terry Gross, et al. – I agree entirely that they’re biased and liberal, but they’re talk-show hosts in the same way that Beck and Hannity are opinionated hosts on Fox News. In neither case do I think the opinionated hosts should be held against the news operations.
