No wonder Reagan blew off detente and its architect, and destroyed the Soviet Union his way. Iran has shown no indication that a presidential visit would make any sense whatsoever. It is lying to the U.N. about its nuke program and continues to bang the drums of war in the region. Give Bush and his team some credit. They are not as dense as some around here perceive them to be — at least not all the time.
