I’ve been noticing more and more that everyone seems disinterested in the presidential race. All normal Americans have seemed that way for awhile. But I’m encountering it among colleagues, Beltwayers, people who used to run on politics. Listen to a McCain speech? Nah, I rather take a nap. Ditto Obama (it’s not just McCain’s delivery that’s the problem, it’s the whole darn race). Redoing the primaries could be the ticket. So, Jonah, don’t let your e-mailer confine us to redoing the Dem race. Let’s have a do-over. We started too early anyway.
