Andrew, you’re going to have to explain to me how exactly to have that debate with Professor Promising-”heinous-cracker-abuse.” The beautiful thing is people don’t ever really get silenced in America and I suspect the school is perfectly happy with their famous “mad scientist” atheist professor and his ridiculous post. But a little outraged attention is deserved (and Bill Donahue is a master at this) — parents paying tuitions there and Minnesota taxpayers ought to read what faculty writes, and threatens, and promises. Conversations and debates ought to be encouraged. A professor’s immature, unprofessional outburst shouldn’t be.
