Congrats, Mona! Speaking of journalism prizes, it’s worth mentioning that the deadline for entering the International Policy Network’s Bastiat Prize competition is coming up here at the end of the month. The contest is open to all writers and rewards journalists who, in the tradition of 19th-century French philosopher Frédéric Bastiat, “eloquently and wittily explain, promote and defend the principles and institutions of the free society.” There are prizes for print and online work.
