Today on Uncommon Knowledge, author George Gilder discusses a way out of the huge pit in which the deficit has placed our country.

Mancur Olson wrote a book called The Rise and Decline of Nations, which said that at a certain point democratic countries become encrusted and paralyzed by their accretions of regulation and special-interest subsidies and layers and layers of laws that often conflict, affecting[?] fees and tax rates.”
