is adults giving kids the tools to believe and accomplish “Yes, I Can.” I loved the kids I met Friday night, and in a special way, the boys. All too often boys — of all races and classes — can get lost. The “Best Men” character-development program makes an investment in them so they don’t.
One of the highlights of the Best Friends event was meeting Kyle Witty, from Milwaukee, who has developed a martial-arts program aimed at raising men out of the public schools there. There are great, dedicated men and women like Kyle across the country who are giving boys and girls real hope to excel in trying environments. They deserve more attention, support, and encouragement.
