Real Letters From The Nr Files

This email just arrived from Tom in “Northern Wisconsin”:

Last year I was feeling guilty about using NRO to it’s fullest without making a donation. With Christmas nearing it seemed a good time to purchase a children’s book as a present for our kids. Voila. I satisfied my guilty conscience by purchasing The National Review Treasury of Classic Bedtime Stories and the kids loved the book. We read it each night before bedtime. Sammy Jay was particularly entertaining.

My advice for your miserly readers, purchase NR books. It satisfied my conscience (even if Jonah prefers cash for NRO) and the kids get some great reading. We will be purchasing multiple books this Christmas season for families and friends. Thanks

Thanks Tom, for being the man. Now, Cornerites, do what Tom says — here.
