Reason # 487 to Come on the NR Cruise—Cal Thomas

I dig Cal Thomas. He is funny, sharp, and insightful—and as America’s most widely syndicated columnist, profoundly influential. My compadre has been on at least half a dozen previous NR voyages, and every time he has been entertaining, wise, convivial, and engaging. Whether on a panel, at a reception, or at dinner (on at least two nights, and likely three, an NR Cruiser will dine at a table for eight or so with one of our speakers—so, for example, it could be Cal on Sunday, Andy McCarthy on Wednesday, and James Lileks on Friday), Cal is a great guy to listen to, and to talk to. His special take on the nexus where the conservative movement and the political establishment meet (collide!), and his analyses of media bias, are just two of the many reasons why he is a most welcome and popular guest speaker on our trips. He’ll be on the National Review 2011 Caribbean Cruise, one of over three dozen top conservatives who’ll be sailing on Holland America’s luxurious Eurodam this November 12-19. Please join Cal and the Gang for what is sure to be seven inspiring and fun days (featuring numerous NR exclusives, including 10 current-topics panel sessions, two “Night Owls,” three cocktail receptions, a smoker hosted by H. Upmann cigars, and intimate dining with our guest speakers and editors). Get complete information, and reserve your cabin, at www.nrcruise.com.

Hey, for more about Cal, visit his website, and while you’re there why not get yourself a copy of The Wit and Wisdom of Cal Thomas.
