Today’s grim CBO scoring of the Obama budget, which is even more harsh than most people seemed to expect, belies simply every economic argument the Obama team made for their budget a few weeks ago. By all rights, it should indeed “throw a major monkey wrench into efforts to enact Obama’s budget,” as the AP asserts it will. But I wouldn’t be so sure.
