Release the Cats of War

So last night I caught a little of Hannity with Rich Lowry as the substitute host. In particular I caught a great segment on military working dogs. It was a very good segment, helping promote adoption of these magnificent, heroic, beasts. After the segment Rich gave a very tight-lipped closer: “And those aren’t the only dogs helping America’s heroes. Thousands of soldiers, airmen and Marines are coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan injured. For info on how you can get them the service dogs they need to help them when they return home, go to VetsHelpingHeroes.org.”

All good and worthy stuff. But my wife and I immediately sensed that Rich knew he was never going to see a similar story on military service cats.

I did find this, but it’s really not the same.
